S06E06 – Take Two Speculation with “Quinn of Ideas and Ice and Fire”

For this week’s Take Two on “Blood of my Blood,” we’re joined by Quinn from Ideas of Ice and Fire, and we speculate. We speculate HARD. Avoid this episode if you prefer to remain unspoiled, virgin snow. Confront this episode face-to-face like an ADULT if you wanna hear about ice dragons (yup), all the ways we think Tommen is going to die, and when exactly Cersei will give in to the voices and go all “Great BALLS of (wild)Fire” on King’s Landing. We had so much fun!

Season 5 Catch Up with “Gay of Thrones’s” Jonathan Van Ness: The Seven Kingdoms

Alex and star of Funny or Die’s “Gay of Thrones” Jonathan Van Ness gab about “Gay of Thrones,” his new podcast, “Getting Curious” and, of course, the haps in the Seven Kingdoms circa Season 5 and what we might expect in Season 6. What we know for certain? Loras needs to stay pretty and Anastasia (Romanov) was more than just a cartoon, y’all.

Season 5 Catch Up with “Team Unicorn’s” Rilean Vanderbilt: Essos

Welcome to the first of three Season 5 Catch-Up episodes to prepare us all for Season 6 of HBO’s “Game of Thrones”! In the first installment, actress/producer and founding member of Team Unicorn, Rileah Vanderbilt stops by to chat about everything that went down last year in Essos, specifically with Dany, Ary and Tyrion. A Chat with David J. Peterson, Creator of Dothraki and Valyrian

Alex and Johnny sit down with David J. Peterson, conlanger and creator of the Dothraki and Valyrian languages for HBO’s “Game of Thrones.” In customary GoT Thrones? fashion, we cover a wide range of topics including but not limited to GoT, David’s new documentary, “Conlanging,” and Jason Momoa’s flair for Dothraki. Oh, and we inspired David to create a Dothraki word for “goat town.” N. B. D.

Cos-Losseum – “Face/Off” alums Anthony Reyes and Rashaad Santiago!

Alex and Johnny welcome guests Anthony Reyes and Rashaad Santiago from SyFy’s “Face/Off”! We sit down with our two delightful guests at Cos-Losseum 2016, a cosplay convention in San Diego for an awesome discussion the show from the perspective of the makeup/fx department. To be fair, this episode turned out to be so much more than that, though. We talk Thrones theorycraft, Emilia Clarke gossip, on-set dos and don’ts, what it’s like to film a smartphone screen, and Cersei’s ratched, ratched wig. Tune in at the end for Anthony and Rashaad’s Best and Worst Thrones makeup/FX moments. It’s become one of our favorite segments.

NoT Thrones #1 – J&A Talk “The Force Awakens”!

In the inaugural “Not Thrones” episode, Johnny and Alex take a break from Thrones to discuss “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”… and the 35 GoT actors who happen to be in it. Johnny fangurls out about pretty much everything but the movie theater itself, and corrects Alex when she calls TIE Fighters “planes.” This is an informal discussion of the film, not quite a review and definitely not a play-by-play recap. Spoilers ALL, however. Seriously.

Hat tip to Reddit user HollowayDivision, who we forgot to credit for the Daario=Jaqen theory!
