Alex and Johnny sit down with David J. Peterson, conlanger and creator of the Dothraki and Valyrian languages for HBO’s “Game of Thrones.” In customary GoT Thrones? fashion, we cover a wide range of topics including but not limited to GoT, David’s new documentary, “Conlanging,” and Jason Momoa’s flair for Dothraki. Oh, and we inspired David to create a Dothraki word for “goat town.” N. B. D.
We haven’t done a news ep in a minute, so here’s a short one. Alex and Johnny talk about the lack of press screeners coming out for “Game of Thrones” season 6. They also talk about Ian McShane’s big mouth all but spoiling the comeback of a “beloved character thought to be dead.” But we kind of already knew about that one, so there’s more jabber about him being placed on “American Gods.” Also, Loras Tyrell might die (yawn) because Finn Jones has been cast in “The Iron Fist”! Huzzah? We’ll be back next Monday, March 7th covering “The Climb.”
Johnny and Alex talk the tease of a teaser HBO released on Game of Thrones on Valentine’s Day. Hope you had a significant other to share your disappointment with. They also discuss the much more satisfying promotional pics Entertainment Weekly released on February 12th.
Alex and returning guest host Ian Lockhart buckle down for a good ol’ fashioned spoiler binge. They go over what’s currently known about season 6 pulling from leaked photos, known casting and actor interviews centralized on winteriscoming.net. This episode covers Dany, Margery, Theon and Sansa’s storylines. Spoilers ALL.
Looks like we’ll need new hosting for the website in order to embed the show directly on the website – we’re looking into the best options. Meanwhile, you can hear our latest casting theories at http://gotthrones.libsyn.com/theorycraft-121516-season-6-casting.

ONE AND THE SAME.) as Randyll Tarly, some (possibly depressing) Margery spoilers and reminisce about days of Drogo past in preparation for rewatching episode 6 of season 1, “A Golden Crown.”
Johnny and Alex discuss the most likely 2016 release date of WINDS OF WINTER, George R. R. Martin’s hilarious cameo in Sy-Fy’s “Z Nation,” and the fact that Kit Harrington was seen eating ice cream in Ireland. WHAT DOES IT MEEEEAAAAN????
